 Large storage in a tiny space!Apr 28, 2009

The Imation Nano 8G flashdrive is exactly what I needed. The swivel cap is the best - never gets lost, gives excellent protection, makes it very easy to insert the drive. I have lots of storage space, and the transfer rate is very fast. The lanyard is extra spiffy. I tried two other brands after my first 2G Imation drive filled up last year. I have HATED the other flashdrives, and was hoping to find a large Imation with the swivel cap. I am super happy with the 8G of storage, and the Nano is the smallest thumb drive I've seen. I use it with my iMac, Macbook Pro, Dell laptop at work, and two virtual Windows machines within my macs. This drive is fast with all of them. No problems at all.

Used this product for 7-8 months. Scanned all of my bank documents onto this drive so I wouldn't have to keep hard copies any more. Then one day I plugged it into my computer and Windows said it needed to be formatted. I tried multiple recovery tools to try and recover the files and nothing could be done. When I eventually reformatted the device it said its size was 4 MEGA-BYTES, yup 4.0MB. All my bank documents from the past 8 years are now gone. Do not buy this product under any circumstances.
