Good batteries, good service, fair priceNov 03, 2011
By Joseph N. Rotello Jr. Good batteries, good service, fair price says it all.
The AGAIN AND AGAIN UL2D Rechargeable NiMH Batteries are first rate, MANY cheaper or low-cost D cell rechargeable are actually AA cells being placed into a D cell shell.
UltraLast frankly delivers what they promise, and they are "true" D cell batteries inside.
As a result, the UL2D batteries hold more charge, and deliver longer lasting performance in real-life use. They also recharge in a reasonable time.
Speaking of charging, a couple of charge-use a lot-then charge again cycles seem to actually make the batteries arrive at "full potential" for further use.
Two thumbs up for these batteries and the seller as well. The asking p[rice is fair, as was the shipping charge.
In everyday use, the batteries appear to be a good investment in a rechargeable D cell battery.

Again and Again rechargeable "D" batteriesJul 02, 2008
By Wallace Slotten These rechargeable "D" batteries were purchased May 29, 2008 for use in a weather radio. Three times the batteries lasted 2-3 days before recharging.
Going back to the "Product Description" I noted the capacity was 3000 mAh which is about the capacity of "AA" alkaline batteries.
Went back to Amazon to search for other rechargeable "D" batteries. Found AccuEvolution batteries which were 10,000 mAh. Purchased these batteries on JUNE 18TH and installed in my weather radio. These are still on the first charge after 8 days.
I returned the "Again and Again" batteries to Amazon for refund. As I had to open the package to try the batteries, hope Amazon will refund the $30.86 cost.
