Excellent cable for 1080pMar 01, 2010

This cable is great. It comes with a external repeater and integrated booster. You can use it without the repeater but you'll see sparkles in 1080p. The repaeter is a little bulky but I managed to hide it. Im using an Optoma HD20 and it looks GREAT. If you dont like the idea of the repeater you can buy Accell B041C-050B-43 CL3 UltraAV HDMI/HDMI Cable (49 Feet/15 Meters). Accell cables is your best choice for true HD!

By Smacker After doing some research on [...], they recommend runs greater than 33 feet be amplified. They also recommend it be powered from an external source. I found this cable which has that exact feature. All my sources are run to this cable via an impact acoustics 5 to 1 HDMI switch (bought here on Amazon). All of my sources have at least a 6 foot run to the HDMI switch. two have 15' runs. This cable works with all of my sources without any issues. My 5 sources are a PS3 (15 foot run to the splitter), Motorola cable box, Samsung p3600 Blu-ray player, Denon 4306 Amp & Denon 3910 all run through an impact acoustics 5 to 1 hdmi switch. I also have an empty 15' cable run to the amplifier for future use. My laptop works just fine on this extra cable. To be clear the spare cable runs to the am, the amp runs to the switch finally to this cable. In the end this run is 75' with two splits and it still works great!
The only negative is the amplifier is not at the source. Instead the power is at the end of the run nearest the TV or projector. In this case its a projector so the box is a little bulky where the cables come out of the wall and go into the projector.

By D. Bolar I works. The repeater must be installed at the monitor end of the cable, so you will need an extra plug and a little extra depth behind the tv if it is wall mounted with a slim mount.
