better then the over hyped expensive monster nonsense.Nov 13, 2004
By william the fighter.. these cables offer excellent value and incredible picture quality.
monster brand cables are a joke its all hype and nothing more i compared these cable with the ones that came with my dvd player then with monster cables.
i noticed the colors are more vibrant and sharp and do indeed offer a higher resolution with the master series cable's.
then i tried the monster cable and noticed the picture was a little darker.
then the basic cheap metal tipped s-video cable that came with the player it was also dark a little bit darker than the monster cables.
in conclusion the the master series cable that acoustic research offers are by far better than monster 1000 ultra line up.
the only way to get close to what the cable offers is to buy the expensive Z300 lineup which still *might* offer the same quality.
the cables are reasonbly priced and the performance cant be beat unless your using CANARE cable's.
cables were tested on 65 inch home theatre tv.

AR - The Expected High QualityJul 04, 2010

AR again upholds its High Quality product reputation. And at the amazing low price now holds a High Value merit as well.
The heavier than usual cable diameter some may find a minor hassle, especially in compact installations, but the signal quality is unmatched and there is no interference picked up even in noisy electronic environments.

Broke on first useSep 24, 2010
By Nikhil For me, one of the pins at the end of the cable broke the first time I tried to plug it in a jack. The pins are extremely fragile, so I don't think I would recommend this cable for longevity.
