Watermarked Pages Ruin Artwork On Non-Adobe ReadersOct 16, 2010
By Neil L. Shapiro (Original review -- also see following paragraph) This would be a wonderful CD of ARCHIE comics but for some reason they have watermarked each page with the word "Archie." This watermark goes right across every page and is about a panel in height. Although, being a watermark it is light it is still there and the eye keeps going to it. What an awful thing to have done and I can't imagine why they did it this way. Don't waste your money unless you want to read the word "Archie" zillions of times.
(As you will see in the comments below I added three stars to this review as if you use Adobe Reader which the CD installs you do NOT see the watermarks. However if you use Preview (as I do) you see them or if you use iBooks you do. So, if you are looking to use these in an environment in which you don't want to use Adobe Reader an otherwise 5-star collection herein is rated 4-stars.)

RelaxingAug 06, 2008
By Christopher Taylor Nothing like reading a few issues of archie comics at night to relax after a hard day. These look great on my laptop ... easy to read. I have been a copy fan for over 3 decades but where Marvel and DC can get tiresome at times trying to be "adult", it's nice to visit Riverdale. Can't wait for the others.

Works on the IPAD!Nov 29, 2010
By FunkyZhitMitPaul I bought this so I could read this on my IPAD, and it works great. I popped in the DVD, connected my IPAD to my PC and copied all the PDFs across. The PDF watermark should only show up in a printed version but this also depends on the version of your PDF viewer. When I used IBOOK to try read the PDFs I did indeed see a watermark but luckly I also purchased the GOODREADER app which removes the watermark. I think this is good value for money if you want to read Archie comics on your IPAD or even your PC.

Great to read these again!Jan 18, 2010
By Dellamorte Very cool product - Entire run of the comic book from the 70's. The company that put this together did a great job of scanning these comics. Every page is here, including all of the advertisements. I have enjoyed reading these classics again, and seeing the old ads reminds me of being a kid. I'm probably going to pick up the whole set.

Copy to hard drive no problem.Jan 14, 2011
By Rick
"Rick Andrews"
Other reviews indicate that if you move these comics to your hard drive there will be a water mark across the pages. If there is one I can't see it. Transfered easily to my hard drive and now if I have five minutes I want to burn reading an old Archie comic, I'm there. I have windows 7 and acrobat 8 installed on my computer if that makes any difference.
These old Archie comics are really funny, I forgot how much.
