The 9 inch long windshield suction pedestal features an 64mm suction base, and provides maximum hold from the windshield. A circular adhesive console/dash disc is also included. It allows you to attach the windshield pedestal to other areas in the vehicle such as the dash or console. Simply stick the adhesive disc in the location where you want to hold your phone and then attach the windshield suction to the flat surface on the disc. Using the adhesive is optional though as most people choose the windshield mount installation. | | | Features: | |

EVO Can't be plugged inJun 21, 2010

I bought this Arkon Mount last week and I really like it, except for one problem. I have an EVO from Sprint, which is a fantastic phone. There is a micro USB for charging and a micro HDMI connector on the bottom of the phone. Both of the connectors are off-center. The left rest on the Mount does not allow the micro USB charge cable to be plugged in while in the Mount. This problem occurs regardless of how it is mounted. This is a serious problem as the battery for the EVO does not last long, especially in GPS mode. My plan at this point is to cut off the left rest on the mount. This should still allow for the Mount to reasonably secure my EVO while allowing me to charge the phone.

Sturdy & FlexibleMar 09, 2010

Use this on my Samsung Moment. Very easy to mount and dismount with the suction cup to the windshield. The arm is steady once positioned. the Holder is easy to lock and unlock on the phone. Great product at a good price and a much better value than Sprint's version which doesn't have the 'vent mount' option. I will buy Arkon products in the future.

I Dash Mount it and Use with my PhoneSep 09, 2009
By Armin Nasufovic I have been using this on my dash with the provided black circle since in California it is illegal to Windshield mount. Works great other than that you should take this mount off if you park in direct sun light when it's hot as the suction cup begins to degrade. The universal mount generally holds my phone phone fine but sometimes it just doesn't click right and it can be a slight hassle to get out the phone. It has fallen off my dash once or twice before but that is because I left it mounted for a week or so. Ideally the best is to mount it again everytime you need it.
Overall sturdy and high quality. Arkon is the brand to get.

Quality Phone DockJan 24, 2011
By Elliott I've used this for several different phones (currently iPhone 4) and love it. It says mounted to the window well, it's sturdy, easy to get the phone in and out... no complaints at all.

Great for HTC IncredibleJul 29, 2010
By KY One size fits all but works great with the Incredible. Good construction sticks well to the windshield. You can move it up slightly in the cradle and get the charger in if need be.
