5They last...Jun 01, 2005
By T. Gieseking "brokeneq"
I recieved these headphones as a gift back 3 years ago for my 18th birthday. They've lasted all this time and still sound great, they have superb quality when used with my dell dj, cd player, everything. One of the ear pieces comes loose but that is due to my rought treatment not defective merchandise. I highly recommend these as they are an exceptional piece of equipment for the price.

4great quality for the priceJul 24, 2011

I have some JVC headphones that were about $20, which has excellent sound, but was curious if I could get a better sound from another equally priced headphones. I think that these produce sound as if they cost $50, and durable. The super long cord is somewhat perplexing, but I guess it has it's uses.

4For the price, you can't beat 'emJun 18, 2011

These headphones didn't blow me away, but they are great for the listed price of $20. Bass is minimal (forget 'em if you're into hip-hop). As an unemployed college student these were the best I was able to afford after my other set suddenly stopped working.

They look and feel pretty cheap e.g. the thin plastic headband, the length adjustments. The cord is way too long for the on-the-go listener,so keeping it tied up to the appropriate length is a must. Not much to look at, but for me that's a plus, as I didn't want a set that looked like princess leia's side-buns - i.e. they aren't bulky or any sort of fashion statement. The ear padding is pretty comfortable, but after extended listening ( 4+ hours) they may get a bit uncomfortable.

If you are looking for a new set of quality headphones at a decent price, then these are probably the set for you. Certainly a major upgrade from ipod ear buds or any other similar basic set. All in all, these headphones are good. They're cheap (not a huge investment), comfortable, and really, a nice sound.

Excellent headphones. As mentioned before, the sound is slightly muffled, especially compared to my sony mdr-j10's, but overall, the sound quality is superb. the bass isnt crazy, but it isnt weak either. i would give it 4 stars because of the insanely long 11-foot cord, but i knew what i was buying before i bought it, so no worries there. and plus, now i can roll away from my desk and not worry about getting whiplash!

What i like most about these is that they arent too tight on my head. they're snug, but not so loose as to fall off if i lean down. my ears get a little warm, but not nearly as much as some other over-the-ear headphones ive used.

The value was too good to pass up, so i got a pair for my lil bro too. if these things last more than a year [given the previous reviews, it sounds like they will], they will be more than worth the 20 bucks they cost. as of now, i am more than satisfied.

if youre looking to jam to music with some panache, dont get these, theyre pretty ordinary looking headphones. just the way i like it though: very plain looking, but highly functional.

5Solid Product, Nice PriceMay 13, 2007
By Andrew D. Lingenfelter
These headphones sound amazing for the the price I paid for them. I bought them as a gift for my girlfriend and she was equally amazed. The cord is extremely long and useful in places where you are far from the device you are listening to (ie. the computer, walking around listening to a CD boom box). The Sony headphones I have now have no bass, are starting to break, and cost me almost as much as these. See if I buy another pair of Sony headphones again...
