I have purchased two of these and they are great for car rides with my 5 year old and 2 1/2 year old. I also connect them, via the RCA jacks provided, to a TV using them as a DVD player, works great. However, after a little over a year, one of the parts that connects the screen to the base is beginning to break. It still plays fine, I just have to be gentle opening and closing the player.
