Great compact antennaApr 18, 2008

Product is similar in size to a Garmin GPS antenna. Used it on the rail of my sailboat with 1 inch rail mount from the marine store and there is enough supplied cable to make a pretty long run. No problems with reception despite the fact it is only 6 inches away from my GPS antenna. Great product and price.

A great SIRIUS antenna for your boatNov 11, 2011

I purchased a dockable SIRIUS receiver to use in a car and also in my 37' sailboat. I was pleased to find this marine antenna for my boat at Amazon. I installed it on the stern pulpit of my sailboat, and I was pleased that the attached cable was just long enough to reach the receiver dock location. It has worked very well and I'm enjoying having great SIRIUS radio on my boat.

It works great mounted on a mast above the eaves of a house. The 25ft cable was long enough to reach the receiver inside the house. It's omni-directional, so there's no need for pointing. It has good gain and provides a nice strong signal in San Francisco.

Great antenna for flush mount installs. Weatherproof and has been holding up for over 2 years on my boat. I fish rain, sleet, snow, and sunny hot days year round with this keeping the tunes going. Only issue I had was the cable end that attaches to my sportster base pulled apart. Couldn't find anything local to replace it. Called AudioVox and they had one sent out at a good price.
