 Awesome inexpensive little speakers - subwoofer mandatoryJan 19, 2010

I'm presently using these speakers as my front and rear surrounds, coupled with the BIC DV-32CLR center and a Klipsch KSW-12 subwoofer, and whether I'm watching a movie or tv, or just listening to cds, these little speakers sound GREAT! They are NOT meant to be stand alone speakers and absolutely require a powered sub, but don't be put off by that, as they do what they're intended to do quite well. Highs and mids are nice and clear, I listen mostly to jazz,classical and standards/vocals. My living room is about 15' x 17' with a 9' ceiling, and they fill it up nicely. BIC makes quality speakers of all sizes and types, and if you check them out they all get good reviews. Well I'm here to say that these little wonders should too! As an added benefit they come in white so the blend in nicely on my white walls, and the built-in keyholes make them a snap to mount. I've owned the set for about a year now, and my opinion of them has only grown higher, so if you're looking for some small, great sounding speakers that won't break the bank, and a have a good sub to couple them with, your search is over. They're available in black too, if you prefer.

I bought 4 DV-32's for my 5.1 system. I am using 2 in the front(DV-32B) and 2 in the rear(DV-32W). I needed something small and these seemed to fit the bill. Price vs. performance is very good. At first I thought the speakers sounded too bright but once I got my sub-woofer set I am very pleased. My days of listening so loud that my ears bleed are long behind me but these little guys have handled the loud parts of the movies I tested just fine. These speakers have a very pleasant sound (as long as you use a sub-woofer) without spending an arm and a leg. In my opinion, if your looking for a small inexpensive speaker, you can't go wrong with these little gems.
