Good but not great-In-wall is never great I guess.Nov 18, 2011

After reading all reviews I was expecting alot from these speakers. They are good but not exceptional.
The goods: It installs easily and it's made of quality material and good drivers.
-They are easy to forget, they disapear both sonically and visually.
-Bass is solid considering it's an in-wall
-They don't distort unless you over-drive them with tons of watts.
-No fatigue whatsoever listening to them for hours.
-Midrange is quite present so it makes good Home theater (small mode) speakers, especially if you have a 2.1 system
The Cons:
-They lack the warmth and presence I had with my previous speakers.
-The tweeter details is less then I expected from a horn tweeter that looks like the Klipsh driver
-Bass is not as solid as you would get with sealed/ported box alignment (non-in-wall)
Considering the price, it's still a good buy ...especially if you understand the limitations of in-wall speakers.
Would I buy them again? Maybe...but would be tempted to try something else, maybe speakers with textile tweeters.
