Acceptable, still not as good as the "Power Support" brand.May 13, 2009

I am an iPhone screen protector snob. All of them that I use typically have one of the following failures:
1. They get damaged when removing from the plastic 2. They don't fit the screen _perfectly_ 3. They won't adhere without a ton of bubbles that are difficult to work out 4. They stretch when you work out the bubbles 5. The reflectivity is just "not right".
For me, item 2 is the most critical and important feature. The Belkin screen overlays were "OK", but so far nothing has come close to the brand of "power support" brand that Apple sells in their stores. I've tried a lot, including this one, and I still prefer "power support" brand.

Doesn't cover the whole front of the phoneNov 01, 2008

These cover just the active portion of the screen, not the whole front of the unit like other protectors. That would be OK, except I keep the phone in my pocket and sometimes accidentally put keys or coins in the same pocket. The whole front protectors along with the case I have completely protects the phone from scratches, but these wouldn't.

I'd give it less than 1 star if I could.Aug 24, 2009

This product is a complete waste of money!!!
1. The product doesn't even come close to lining up properly over an iPhone. How long has the iPhone been out? Didn't they bother to test their own pattern?
2. The cardboard "tool" they provide for you to press down on the overlay to help seat it and push out any air bubbles actually scratches the overlay. Not to mention it's completely useless for pushing out air bubbles.
3. The installation process itself also causes damage to the screen overlay. There is a second tab that has to be removed after the overlay is put down and seated. However, the glue they use to hold it onto the overlay is so sticky you have trouble removing it, and it ends up sticking all over the display. Trying to clean it with soapy water just smears it. Alcohol wipes or a Qtip dipped in alcohol work, but damage the overlay screen anyway.
Belkin should be forced to refund all customers who bought this product!
