Looks like a nice device but the plug size is different. Nothing against the product, though.
You'll need to find something else for the Onyx.

If you have the "car" kit and you don't want to spend 60+ dollars on the "home" kit just to get a 120v power adapter, this is what you need.

Purchased this item and it lasted all of two weeks before our satellite radio once again did not work due to lack of power. Hmmm....two weeks? C'mon. We checked our outlets, receiver, etc. before realizing it was the cord. To return this useless item would cost more than I paid for it, plus the postage to receive it. Finding a power cord for our xm satellite receiver was quite a callenge. Well at least it was better than paying for the entire kit just to get a cord. How disappointing that a power cord has such a short life.

This power adapter works well to replace my old one. Plugs in just as the old one and does a great job.

Purchased this to replace the original that burnt out after a couple of years. So far no issues and no complaints, can't beat the price so I bought two just in case. This was originally for an older radio but I am using the kit for a new Onyx radio and it works fine, sure beats paying $50 for a new home kit.
