I tried several headphone splitters off our 42-inch HD LCD in our home gym, but this one is the best. We've had it for months and it does the job perfectly. Clarity and volume are not affected -- no hum and no attenuation. And the splitter seems impervious to the independent movement of two headphone cords as the sound remains constant -- no shorting out and disruption of sound. Looks classy, too. Next time I need another headphone splitter, this is the one I will buy.

I plug headphone directly into jack, great.
use this for two headphones, not great.
can't hear movies, so it is useless in ipad.

I just received this product in the mail today and tested it out on my iPhone and computer, but it never worked it would not work on one ear and would screw-up what the track was playing. Waste of money.
