This thing sucks! Not sure why Amazon won't let me give it zero stars because that's what this thing deserves. I'm only giving it one because it won't let me give it less.
I have a brand new MacBook Air and wanted a sleeve I could throw into my messenger bag and leave there. The idea was that I would leave the sleeve in the bag and just slip my Air in and out when needed. Nice idea. Well, this damn thing actually damaged my MBA! The padding for the zippers isn't sufficient and I've now got scratches on both sides of my computer about one inch from the from the clam shell opening. The zipper goes all the way down to the bottom on one side and on the other side it stops about 1 inch from the top. Well, this is exactly where the scratches now are. I slide it in in both directions and thus I have scratches on both sides.
My opinion? Boycott this company. For some strange reason they actually have an established brand yet everything I've ever bought from them sucked. I while back I purchased a Belkin FM transmitter for my iPod and car stereo and it never worked in my area. Living in a major metropolitan area just about every spot on the dial has some signal and apparently they're all too strong for the Belkin device to override them. I hate Belkin!!!

Nice tight fit, though a bit looser at the bottom than it needs to be. Smells really bad at first. I had to put it outside. After a few weeks the smell is much less, but still noticeable.

I got this to fit my wife's new 11 inch MacBook Air (as it is advertised it will), but was dismayed to find that it is much bigger than the computer. I wanted a case that fit snugly around the computer, not one that allows the computer to move around and be jostled. This was false advertising at it finest! It may fit the 13 inch version, but not the 11 inch version. Do not buy if you have the 11 inch macbook air.

I bought both the and belkin case and this box wave leather envelope case and I love both. Both have an initial chemical odor which is to be expected in most electronic accessories. The metal zippers really do not scratch the macbook air and my most favorite feature is simply how snug this fits! If you don't want bulkiness (which is probably why you bought the air in the first place) then I recommend this product. I bought the incase that's "compatible" for the air at the apple store but I thought it had too much excessive space and I think it is much more appropriate for the macbook pro. This case is snug, clean, and minimalistic and a great alternative to the incase because it is both cheaper and better fitting. Highly recommended!

Fits very well on my "13 MacBook Air. Would definitely recommend-- definitely worth the $18. Doesn't have an external pocket, but I didn't need one.
