Not an OEM product!Feb 28, 2009

Beware! Even though Amazon specs say this is an OEM accessory and model number is the one of an OEM car charger, this is NOT an OEM car charger. It is a cheap (looking cheap, feeling cheap) no brand car charger, which could also damage your blackberry battery.
I emailed back and forth a few times customer care to resolve the issue, but it was useless and it was taking too long for them to reply, with standard replies, missing my point. I was getting upset and filing a claim (even for a few bucks; it's the principle of being victim of false advertising) when I called customer care by phone and they eventually shipped the OEM accessory an no extra cost.

The charger works just fine, but it does come slightly dislodged from the cigarette lighter sometimes. It's not snug fit. So you have to make sure that it's actually charging/push it all the way in when you plug in your device.

If you depend a lot on your blackberry and are on the road often, this is a necessity! Simple and inexpensive, just plug it in and charge your phone while driving, SIMPLE. Recommended.

This is not a mini USB charger. It does not fit a Blackberry Bold as advertised. Just bought 2. Not worth the return hassle. Annoying. Do not buy this.

I never did find out if the charger was functioning, if it didnt fit tight in the lighter socket, if it would damage my phone or anything else. It is not the correct male plug for the phone so it could not be used. Wondering how many more people will get burned before Amazon steps in and shuts this seller down. So far, it has cost Amazon approx. twice the value of the product to pay for shipping and returning.
