 Whatch out for the power supplyFeb 19, 2007

I was trying to share a satellite box between two rooms with this unit and a 2010, and by trying to save some money I did not buy the power adapter required, planning to use one that I had. Well, did not work, my adapter did not work with the 2010. The 2010 was faulty also, and I could not get a warranty exchange since Amazon is not an authorized dsitributors for this product. I had to purchase another unit plus the power supply, now the savings that I was expecting by not paying my satellite provider for an extra box are going to take double the time (almost 2 years) to recup.
