5Good PASSIVE splitterSep 28, 2010
By RG
Well built distribution splitter. It is passive, so you'd probably need some amplification stage before the unit or signal might be degraded. But overall is a good performer

5Works like a champFeb 19, 2010
By Craig G
This device works as expected. Have had it for over a year now and no problems.

Update 1/3/2011 --
This device finally died on me after about a year of use. Pulled my hair out trying to figure out why my signal was so poor and finally the cable company explained that these devices are not as passive as they appear. They do wear out with time and cause signal degradation. I ended up replacing this with a splitter with an amplifier that has served me well since then.

5Good for digital TV tooJul 04, 2009
By Mickey "xyxoxy"
I set up a home made digital antenna in my attic made of wire hangers and scrap wood. This allows me to pickup free digital television signals from very far away.

I was worried that splitting the signal would degrade it but so far I've used 6 of the 8 ports on this splitter and everything seems fine. I do have terminators on the unused ports which I believe helps.
