Great picture and sound, works for me but if your jacks aren't close to one another on both the computer and your PC you're gonna be better off spending a few more dollars for something different.

I was warned on other websites that streaming video from my laptop to my tv with a VGA cable would give me poor picture and sound. However, this cord is exactly what I needed, the picture is top notch and the sound is clear and crisp. The audio jack was a couple inches too short for my laptop, but Cables Unlimited was incredibly helpful and sent an audio extension cord quickly free of charge and I couldn't be happier.

Our three notebooks all have d-sub port at one side and the audio out port at the other side, even the smallest 12" one still cannot get both audio and d-sub plugged. I still need to get a separate audio cable. Bad design for notebook. For desktop it should be OK.

I bought this cable in order to plug my Macbook Pro (using an adapter) into my new LG TV, and it works like a dream. The audio sounds great and the cable is heavy duty and plenty long enough for what I need it for. I would totally recommend this product to anyone that needed it for similar purposes!
