I got these for my cell phone, but unfortunately my cell is MONO so it only plays from 1 ear, however, for the price these do have a very good sound and being retractable is great while you're on the move.

I bought these to replace my regular earbuds that were damaged while I was traveling. They aren't as convenient as they claim to be. The storage ease was nice, but walking around with the cord retractor banging against my hip wasn't so good. The mechanism that retracts the wires got jammed a few times, and it's tough to adjust the wire length to a custom fit. You either have them open all the way, or wound up. I wouldn't buy them again, unless it was an "emergency" like last time.

I would give 0 star if I can. The description of this product says , "This 48 Inch retractable stereo earphones offer incredible sound from a compact design, making it ideal for use with MP3 players, portable CD players, Laptops, Walkmans and portable DVD players." Well, it does not fit any of the mobile products I have including my laption, cell phone, and MP3 player. I should have listened to other reviews.

BEWARE--Very disappointed that this won't fit my iPad or my iPhone. This should be stated in the description. Now the hassle of either buying an adapter or returning the product. Wonder what it does fit ????
Not the standard 1/8" (=3.5mm) stereo plugMay 18, 2011

Buyer beware with this item. I thought that I was buying a product with a "standard" 1/8" stereo plug. After receiving the product, I realized that it does not have a "standard" 1/8" plug. A 1/8" plug is 3.5mm and this plug is 2.5mm. Yes, I suppose that I should have known the difference before placing the order, but there should be a warning of some sort to notify the buyer that 2.5mm is not a "standard" 1/8" earphone plug. Yes, I know that I can return the item for a refund, but the return shipping is the same as the cost of the product. Instead, I ordered and received another earphone with the "standard 1/8" = 3.5mm plug. Note that when I followed up directly with Amazon they immediately agree to a full refund. That's why I like to shop with Amazon.
