As a T1/E1 cross-over adapter, it works great. I've deployed about 30 of them so that I could use a Cisco router to act as the "network" side of an ISDN PRI circuit in order to generate a PRI for Polycom video codecs.

I put it on a standard cable and it stocks all signals. I use a crossover cable that that works. I would avoid this adapter and just buy a crosover cable.
