Love these cablesDec 22, 2009
By Nancy C. Stultz I can't believe that these cables are so great. No problem with them and I even bought some for the family. It eliminates the 3 feet of cable that you get with your laptops

makes packing a little neaterOct 07, 2009
By wise1owl I travel frequently and this cable works perfectly. I'm able to leave my power supply cable plugged in at home in the power strip under my desk. A neat feature is that it includes an adapter so it will connect to most 2-wire or 3-wire power supply's.
Does not work with 3-prongMay 15, 2012
By Hirva Raj This is a brilliant idea but it does not work with 3-prong. That is majority of computers and projectors. So that is why I was dissapointed. It is a good idea though!
Nice but not perfectNov 25, 2011
By RJQMAN I travel a great deal and I like to use retractable cables whenever I can. Zip-Linq has a broad line, and I have purchased several cables from them. In general, they work fine, but I have had one problem. The mechanism that locks the cable in place and prevents it from retracting often seems to 'wear out' quickly. Their competitor, Bestek, makes a more reliable device that is slightly smaller and easier to pack as well.
Neither company offers all options of connectors, so I have purchased from both companies, and would do so again. The product is pretty good, but not perfect.
You have to pull on both sidesMay 15, 2011

The design of the device is very simple, and you have to pull equally on both ends of the cord to extend the cable out. Because of this, it is very inconvenient to use, especially behind a desk or in a permanent installation mounted to a wall, which is what I had intended.
I ended up returning this and purchasing workshop style cord retracts, which much better suit my purposes even though they are longer than I really needed.
