Functional but flawed.Mar 21, 2008
By L X I got this case (in green) recently for my new Canon SD1100 IS camera. If you just want to protect your camera from daily wear-and-tear, then I would recommend this case for its semi-rigid body and durable exterior. If you're looking for aesthetics, this case is probably not for you. The craftsmanship is poor, and the detachable strap is very flimsy. Also, you shouldn't get this case if you want to carry all of your various camera accessories at once. To summarize:
Pros: - fits most compact point-and-shoot cameras - semi-rigid body / durable exterior - reasonable price - comes in a variety of fun colors
Cons: - poor craftsmanship - flimsy detachable strap - not enough room for additional camera accessories (e.g. charger, etc.) - colors may not be as shown

Just your basic carry caseJan 10, 2009
By Tech Addict Pros: - Fits my Canon SD1100IS - Can fit the USB cable - Feels like a tough case that can take care of the camera - Not too pricey
Cons: - Too big to fit into a pocket (previous reviews were misleading) - The wrist loop doesn't feel too secure - No belt clip. This would have been useful with the flimsy wrist loop and large case size.

Also, the green color of the case is darker than the picture shown on the website indicated. Finally, you shouldn't get this case if you want to carry all of your various camera accessories at once. To summarize, I made a list of pros and cons:
Pros: - fits most compact point-and-shoot cameras - semi-rigid body / durable exterior - reasonable price - comes in a variety of fun colors
Cons: - poor craftsmanship - flimsy detachable strap - not enough room for additional camera accessories (e.g. charger, etc.) - green color is not accurately depicted

"It's all good..."
Just got my wife a Canon SD 1100is and this case is perfect for it. Fits nice w/spare battery and SD card also. Semi-solid case for good protection so all in all... everyone is happy!!

OK Camera CaseJun 02, 2009
By bellacristina I would have liked the case to contain some kind of padding to protect the camera's LCD screen.
