I bought a casio machine so I am stuck using this tape-I don't want to be wasteful and throw the machine in the landfill. It is difficult to peel the tape from the backing. On other brands you fold the tape in half and it separates from the backing easily on this you have to get an exacto knife , or very sharp fingernails and struggle to get it off.
Also, the machine wastes a lot of tape. A good way for them to sell more.
If you haven't bought a label machine yet i would think twice about this one. if you have this machine I would keep it or give it away to a school or Martha Stewart fan and get something else.

I have an older model (KL-60) and this tape works just great. Package says 'universal Casio Tape Fits All Casio Label Printers'.

Tape worked well in my older Casio KL-7000 labeler. Of course it takes forever to start to peel the backing paper from the tape but that is due to the the KL-7000 as it doesn't precrease the tape it only cuts it. Only trouble I had was the last few feet on the roll had so much curl on it that it would not exit my labeler but would continue to go around inside my machine creating a jam. After 2-3 times of this I discarded the old tape cartridge and put in the new one. This is expensive tape per foot but it looks professional and it stuck well on the manilla folders that I was labeling so all I was happy with it.

Tried installing these cartridges in my labelmaker (casio) and one of the two in the pack had the black flimsy tape part of the cartridge tore and broke. Just putting it out there for everyone to make note of.
