Okay phone but missing some critical featuresJul 19, 2007
By foodwinesong I bought this phone for an elderly relative who is both hard of hearing and has memory issues. While the phone does amplify adequately, it requires you to push a boost button every time you receive a call in order to turn on the amplification. This was not acceptable in our situation nor was it mentioned in the description of the product. I called the manufacturer and they told me that their higher end models have an override capability in which you can leave the amplification on permanently. This phone also does not have any speed dial buttons. I had to return this phone and get a different model.

Pros & ConsJun 19, 2007
By DarPo1 Pros: Great for elderly - loud ring, large loud buttons, light flashes when rings, amplifies incoming sound, hangs on wall in kitchen (minimal space), easy to use, person on other end can hear you perfectly
Cons: There's a bit of an echo or something (probably with all that amplification) that you hear a bit of yourself. My parents say it's ok, but I want them to have a great phone. They love the other features.... so it's kind of a toss up...

Headset jack does not exist.Jan 14, 2010
By Chris Stephenson Very simply, the product is advertised as having a headset jack but has no such thing. The only reason I bought it was I was looking for an inexpensive corded phone with a headset jack, but now I will be returning it.

Buttons don't work wellSep 23, 2008
By Fred J This phone sounds clear and works well except for the dialing. If you are not very careful to hit the buttons just right it enters the number when you push it in and when you release it. Sometimes have to dial several times to get the number to enter right.

Clarity Amplified Corded Trimline PhoneOct 17, 2009
By J. smith Even though I do not have a hearing loss, I have to press the amplification button to hear the connection. The phone transmits too softly unless the amplification button is used. Also there is static and an echo on the line. The keypad does not engage smoothly. It could be the reason that I am experiencing wrong number connections - numbers not even close to what I thought I had dialed.
