This product is not only substandard in quality but virtually useless as an air-duster. It has much less air pressure than standard "canned air" and only lasts about 1/25 the time, losing pressure as it's used. I used 2 cartriges just to clean the interior of a single computer where I can usually use a single can to clean all of them. I can't stress the poor value of this product enough.

First off, it is only a 16g cartridge, so don't expect a lot from it, but you are paying for the compactness of the unit, so you don't have to pack the bulky can of air. If you have ever tried the smaller 8oz or 6oz cans of air, even those don't last that long. Secondly, if you've ever tried to get that one dust bunny (or jackrabbit) and you can't reach it without pulling cables to get your bulky can of air in the case just right, this is for you.
All that is needed is a pair of pliers, a toothpick, and a drill with a very small bit (I use a 3/32nd). Use the toothpick to gently push the restraining pin out of place on the top of the nozzle, use the pliers to remove it entirely. Next remove the nozzle piece (the straw piece is connected to the brass manifold). Now with the drill, bore a hole directly in the flat, back of the manifold. You will not have to drill long, as the piece is not that thick, after the hole is punched through, re-assemble. Be sure that you replace the restraining pin, before you test the new pressure that you will now have.
Now I'm sure the manufacturer will say that not using it as designed, as they warn on the package and I make no claims or warranties as I'm not the one modding your AirBlaster. All I know is that I found a similar review on the web with these instructions and it worked for me.

I ordered this thinking that maybe the cartridges would be more efficient, powerful, and less costly in the long run then the cans of compressed air. Well there I go thinking again. Such a sly grin I had on my face when I screwed down the military looking device on one of the twin cartridges that came with it. One spray and I was checking the directions to see if I was supposed to nip something off of the end of the straw first.Surely something was blocking the end of it? Nope. My girlfriend blasted me in the head with her highly compressed can of 3M dust remover and called me a dope for buying it . It's going in the trash, I won't even pretend to use it.What a bunch of thieves, how does this impotent piece of trash even make it to the market?

Like others here, I was VERY disappointed w/ the performance of this so I figured - what the heck - why not modify it.
I pulled out the straw - it was hollow.
I removed the pin holding in the brass nipple to find there was no hole for the air to pass thru.
I broke out the cordless drill and, using the smallest bit I could find, drilled a hole through the back. (Picture looking thru the hole that the straw was in - put the drill bit in there and dril out/thru the back side.)
Put it back together
NOW - there is a great deal of air pressure. It's really cool and a lot more compact than a 10 oz can of air.
Pros- Good pressure, compact
Con - had to modify it to make it work, cartridges are small -
All in all - a pretty good trade off.

That necessary 1 star goes to the "awesome" looking design. Too bad this piece of garbage is easily beat out by the generic red and white air cans you can buy in bulk from your local electronics/supermarket/mall/warehouse/online store. If you really must, buy this and put it next to your computer, but make sure to keep the real cans of air close at hand for when you actually need to do some cleaning.
