Excellent company, excellent warrantyAug 16, 2005
By Suzanne Corrin This game controller has a macro feature that can do several functions at once instead of pushing several buttons to achieve the same outcome. The Matcatz controller is totally compatible with the GameCube console. Don't feel you have to pay more to get the GameCube controllers. We've had this one for four years without a problem. Just recently my son had trouble with the figures in the game moving on their own, so I called the 800 number I found at [...] They sent me a new controller within a week. I couldn't be more pleased with the product or with customer service. I would buy again from this company.

Micron ControllerFeb 12, 2005
By Courtney LeBlanc I have small hands, so I found the Micron Controller great. It was easy to find all the buttons on it (when I wasn't used to them when I first began playing). I did not find the controller fragile, however. My sisters and I play Super Smash Brothers, and there is a lot of button mashing going on in that game. This controller has stood up to this punishment very well, as we play it all the time, and it's always getting handed around to different people. We got it for Christmas over a year ago, and it still works today as well as it did the first day we got it. This is definitely a good buy if you have small hands, but you really should stick to the regular controller if you have large hands.

Don't expect to use this controller for more than 10 monthsOct 12, 2005
By GMG I purchased three of these controllers along with my GC, & all three failed at around 9 months. They seem to be fairly susceptible to high-humidity as I took a couple of them apart & found that the screws holding it together & various parts inside the units were corroded.
The standard Nintendo branded controllers are vastly superior in every respect. Spend an extra $5 and get one of those.

Great for small hands, but too fragile.Nov 15, 2003
The Microcatz MicroCon game controller for the Nintendo GameCube, made for people with smaller hands, is two-thirds the size of the brand-name Nintendo GameCube controller. The Microcatz controller has all the features of the regular Nintendo GameCube controller, including rumble (vibration), but adds a macro feature to record one set of keystrokes for rapid playback. The MicroCon is great for children, and even works well for adults looking for that split-second improvement in responsiveness from less finger-travel time.Unfortunately, the Microcatz MicroCon for the Nintendo GameCube is a fragile product. Both of my MicroCon controllers failed within a few months of purchase. As a result, I recommend that consumers avoid this product, and purchase brand-name regular-sized Nintendo GameCube controllers instead.

I love this controller. I have really small hands and it fits just right. I've had it for six years now and it's done great....Until it met the wall. I've found that after smashing the controller's into the wall in a fit of LoZ:Windwaker rage they don't work as well...
