Not worth itDec 02, 2008
By Denkins This game may be inexpensive, but only about one in 6 puches I threw were recognized by the system. When I would block, it would take 3 to 5 seconds before it would show a block. I bought it for the boxing, not the other controller games that come with the system. Also, it takes lots of batteries. You have to take the batteries out or the controller and gloves will be on constantly, draining the batteries. It is no where near what the arcade boxing games are. It's not worth the price to buy this.
Okay for a kid's toy.Oct 28, 2010
By David Giles If you look at the rating on the package, it will tell you that this system is recommended for kids age 5 and up. That's about what you can expect for this system. I have been playing video games since I was about 10 years old, and I'm 50 now. I can remember the original TV Tennis games of the early 70's, because my family owned one. I have either owned or played just about every video game system there ever was. I spent hours on end in video arcades wasting quarters in the 80's, and started buying systems in the 90's. Anyhow I can honestly say this system is not going to knock your socks off if you're more than about 10 years old. But I just had to give it a try. The construction of the system is flimsy at best, and the boxing gloves are merely strap-ons that attach to your wrists with velcro straps. The punches you throw in the boxing game aren't 100% accurate. All the games are pretty much the same as I've seen with systems like the Zone 40 and the Interact 89-game plug n' play systems. Simplistic Chinese knock-offs of 80's arcade games. The system eats batteries like mad, so you might try using rechargable NIMH's for this one. All in all, you actually don't get what you pay for, if you're planning to shell out $35.00, its not worth it at all. I paid $10.00 for the set on eBay (a best-offer price), which wasn't bad. My verdict is that you should probably stay away from this unit altogether. It's basically pretty lame.

By Bargin Hunter My husband got this because of the plug and play boxing. It's not a very durable item but the games are fun.
