I like Duracell batteries and I use them a lot for camping, for my biofeedback equipment, etc. They seem to last longer than anything else and I've never had one leak and ruin an expensive piece of electronic equipment.
If you are ordering batteries online, be sure you are aware of shipping costs. They are quite heavy and therefore, expensive to ship. If you purchase online, then I would find out the shipping cost and buy in enough quantity that it's worth it.

Duracell 9 volts are the only batteries I use in the wireless microphones we use for our instructional video business. We replace the batteries before every shoot and sometime run for up to 10 hours non-stop. Wireless microphones use a lot of power and we have found that the Duracell batteries can make it through an entire day of shooting, lasting about 25% longer than the less expensive generic types we tried before.
We also use Duracell 9 volts in our smoke detectors at home. They might be more expensive than some, but they are worth it in the long run.
Highly recommended!

I ordered this product based on the Duracell name and the picture of the product. I live in central AZ and the product has to come through Phoenix to get to me. In the summer, Phoenix is H-O-T!!
I recieved the products via USPS snail mail after 5 days, and they were HOT to the touch. Additionally, they were apparently a repack and not as pictured.
My intended use was in smoke detectors and CO detectors, so I felt that due to their extended exposure to heat, I could not trust them. I gave them to a neighbor kid who used them in toys.
So,two complaints:
1. The product recieved was not the product pictured. I could have bought bulk batteries for less money locally.
2. The shipping method was a poor choice.
Sorry to report that this is one of the very few negative reviews I have published.
