This cable was exactly what I needed to connect my external hard drive (1 TB acomdata hard drive) to expand the recording space of my Scientific Atlanta DVR. Works like a charm.

I bought a pair of these cables for my Griffin-branded Silicon Image-made eSATA ExpressCard for my MacBook Pro (January 2006, the first model of MacBook Pro released). One cable works well to this day, another gave up the ghost- this conclusion reached after trying as many different combinations of drives and cables as I could manage. The cables were also unpleasantly stiff and resistant to being routed from the machine to the drives in question.
So I bought a pair of OKGear cables to use instead, and those have been working fine so far.

I ordered two 3Gbps eSata cables, but I received two 1.5Gbps cables.
Amazon customer service asked me to return the items, and they gave me the phone number to call Technology Galaxy, so maybe they could send me the right cable instead of the refund, since I need the cables.
Technology Galaxy customer service could not even find the IOGEAR 3Gbps cables in their product list. So I am returning the cables and waiting for the refund.
Both customer services were fine, and I received a tag to send the product back with no shipping fee, so I have no problems with Amazon or Technology Galaxy.
But I won't buy 3Gbps esata cables from Technology Galaxy anymore.

Ordered two Esata 3GBPS but received two Sata 1.5GBPS cables. Called Amazon for replacement but they sent me the same incorrect Sata 1.5GBPS cables. Not sure how it could they could get it wrong again, the label clearly says "SATA 1.5Gpbps". Never buying anything from Technology Galaxy again.
