Cheap but not so accurateNov 06, 2008
By A. Shah This product doesn't work too well. Every battery that I tested even old ones that may have a little juice but do not really have enough juice comes up as "Good". It basically has to be totally dead in order to get a weak or replace indicator.

Waste of moneyJul 28, 2009
By R. Jordan I was so excited when I got this last week. I went on a battery testing frenzy. Everything registered "good". I knew that was wrong because I knew I had bad ones in there. I put ones that said "good" in my camera and it was still dead. I thought it was the way I was holding it or the way the batteries were placed but now after reading other reviews I know it's not me. It looks cheap and is cheap. I guess you get what you pay for.

Too sensitiveMay 03, 2009
By J. Wong Used batteries that I can no longer use for my digital camera comes up good when tested. The tester is too sensitive. I can't mix the new batteries with the spent ones because they both come up as good on the tester.

Don't waste your moneyJul 24, 2009
By GW Don't waste your money on this battery tester. It reads good - even if your battery is weak.

Utterly Worthless Piece of C***Aug 19, 2009
By homersapiens This tester gives a 'Good' rating to all batteries except old-fashioned carbon-zinc cells that are absolutely, completely discharged (think: your grandma's flashlight from 1970). For example, when testing four Duracell Ultra AAA alkaline cells from my Dish Network Receiver remote control, which would no longer operate the remote and which showed no remaining, useful capacity via each battery's built-in tester, all four tested 'Good.' Moreover, the construction is poor: the clamps have considerable 'slop' and do not line up properly. A disgraceful product from a usually good company (I've used their excellent KVMs for years).
