I bought this to disperse the flash but it will not stay on. Like the other reviewer then went for the strobe and fibre cable, the fibre cable sensor covers the camera's own flash.

Very simple product, that is needed for U/W macro photography, at a great price, and that does what is expected. However, it can fall off so take care of that.

Not sure how well it worked or not. We didn't have any significant glare from the flash when using the underwater camera. I bought it as a gift for my wife. Once she put it on the housing she was afraid to take it off and snap the plastic ring so it's hard to judge. One downside is the way I hold the camera it did rub against my finger making it a little awkward to hold the camera.

I bought this instead of an underwater strobe, but went with the strobe in the end. I didn't even use this diffuser. I went to 40 feet (deepest) with my strobe, and yes, the strobe was needed for some pictures (I have an awesome one of a crab under some rocks, which wouldn't have been possible without the strobe). The strobe will cost about $120 - solid solid solid

The Intova flash diffuser is a must buy for the Intova underwater camera. It fits on tightly, and I am not concerned it will slip of in a dive. I have not yet dove with the camera yet, but I have used it in my house to work with camera. The images are ok without the diffuser, but look great with the diffuser. If you have read other reviews mentioning the edges of pictures being messed up by the flash, it is true. True to the point it looks pretty bad. My only complaint is the diffuser should really just come with the camera case, or be built into the camera case.
