This tape works fine, with no problems I can notice.
Great that JVC still makes it. Other companies no longer make S-VHS tape.

Was very disappointed with this tape. Initially it played extremely well, but after only a few recordings, it started giving me more problems than much less expensive tapes. Thought paying more would mean better quality, but no. Would like to return the ones not used.

SVHS is Still A Good AlternativeMay 02, 2010

Ordered these for SVHS medical video recorder. The difference in quality between VHS and S-VHS is very noticeable. While they cost a little more, it is a much better image than what is obtained by standard VHS. If you have a good, working S-VHS, use these tapes while you can and then switch to DVD recording (which is probably going to be overrun in the future by recording to SD cards and large capacity hard drives.
