 A sure solution for new plasma/lcd televisionsJan 12, 2011

With the purchase of a big new flatscreen television, the next question generally becomes, "where do I put it?" If you are like me and have wall space available where floor space may be at a premium, I believe you'll find that Level Mount manufactures a superior product that works as promised.
This unit features a remote control that allows for you to adjust the tilt (up/down) of the screen from the comfort of your lounge chair, bed or couch. If you have children, you'll find that being able to keep the screen off the floor and away from little ones is a huge benefit, while also being able to direct the screen toward the floor where the children might be playing and watching their favorite educational programming.
Installation is a snap with the supplied templates, usability is also very easy with the intuitive remote.
One draw back for those who are attempting to eliminate remotes around their entertainment center is that this does add one more. However, I've noticed that once this is set, I've only had to make minor adjustments. My primary reason for purchase was to prevent anyone from man-handling the screen causing it to be torn from the wall, and to prevent fingerprints and food smudges on the glass.
All in all - a great product!

I bought one of these because it was fairly inexpensive because it had been returned and tested OK. Not so...
the motor control board sparks whenever the power is applied! Thankfully, I don't need this feature, so I went
ahead and installed it and used a wood block to achieve the desired tilt. Oh well, just over a C-note and it's very sturdy....
