I could see how some people might be confused with the installation instructions, however, generally Leviton puts a nice diagram inside the box of every device it sells and one glance of that, and its smooth sailing.
Used this for my bathroom and it works perfect. Note, since it is just a simple mechanical switch it allows either Compact florescent or incandescent lights. I used it to run lights and an exhaust fan in the bathroom - works perfect and the switches have a NICE feel. Can also run light or ceiling fan with no problem.
Beats these "digital" switches which are so finicky about loads - all the while they suck juice 24/7. The great thing about mechanical switches - they are either ON or OFF... no in between sucking pennies out of your pocket. Also, mechanical switches will generally outlive the owners who install them - very reliable and SAFE.

This product does not come with instructions. Technically it does, but instead of telling you how to install it, the instructions merely remind you of what the product does.
The product number (5634) isn't even listed on the Leviton site and their customer service is far from 24/7 so no help is available unless you sit home all day. Unless you are a trained electrician, find a different product.
