Difficult to install & useApr 19, 2012
By gifford scott These pins are a decent concept that fails in execution. Polished metal crimp section of these pins doesn't seem to grip the bare wire end of the speaker cable exceptionally well when crimped. I ended up soldering the crimped section onto the wire, which was another 20 minutes of work. On top of this, the whole concept of pin connections seems suspect: For the spring clip connections that I bought these for, the pins don't seem to engage well and wiggle loose very easily. I ended up giving up on these connectors and going back to bare wire - they're nice-looking pieces, but almost a complete waste of money for me.

By Tom Nelson These are crimp-on, which means they are not reusable. They do not work well with thumb screw posts. If the cable is moved a couple times the post loses it's grip on them and they fall out. Bare wire works much better.

The Monster angled Gold pin connectors are the best you can get. I have tried others or just wire and go back to these.
