I got this speaker for use w/ a Winbond voice chip and a 5 volt power source and am impressed with it's response level in this limited application

Good speaker - has withstood lots of abuse. Puts out plenty of volume and cuts through the roar of knobby tires on an on/offroad vehicle. Still working in year 6.

Our Miata club uses CB radios to communicate during our trips. Most have portable CB's which do not have exceptional speakers. Connecting this unit provides clear distortion free reception even during spirited top down motoring. I am very pleased with this purchase.
