3OK, but uncomfortableOct 30, 2009
By H. M. Place
I use these radios and headsets for 2-4 hours at a time. After about 30 minutes, they become increasingly uncomfortable. I wear eyeglasses and the stiff wire puts pressure on the ear where the speaker is placed. I have re-bent the wire over the ear several times, but that has not worked.

Also, the in-line push-to-talk button on one of the headsets has never worked, requiring me to use the PTT button on the radio, itself.

No complaints about the price or delivery time.

4Not badMay 09, 2008

I bought these to use on a motorcycle and you can't hear when the speed gets above a crawl. They work great for anything else though. Only wish the headset was adjustable.

5Midland headsetsJan 16, 2011

The Midland AVPH5 that I purchased have worked well for our setting. The volume is loud enough to hear and since the microphone is close to your mouth it helps to elimiate outside noises. We use them in a concert setting while loud music is going on. I would reccomend them for the price, since it is very reasonable. I was also surprised as to how quickly Amazon sent the merchandise.

5QualityFeb 13, 2008

I bought these along w/ a pair of Midline GXT850s. We use them in paintball. they work great. They are very clear and easy to use. My only suggestion would be an adjustable band on the back rather than the unadjustable wire version. Otherwise, great deal.
