Wireless Mini-bullets a big hit at our houseJun 23, 2008
By R. P. Milback These are great LITTLE speakers, i say little because if your looking for BIG Sound for your Backyard Kegger party, keep looking. But if you want true stereo background music for your deck or patto then these are SUPER! My friend has some wireless speakers but they are mono so you can guess i was really pleased to find these. I plugged my transmitter into the tape outputs on my stereo with standard rca cable instead of the headphone plug that came with the unit. The transmitter auto powers on and off with audio input sencing and the speakers will power off after 5 min of no signal. The speakers are mounted upside down in the top with a cone baffle that reflects the sound out the front and back sides. Very warm sound at the default level even with the bass boost turned on. And they really sound better on the floor then on a table, go figure! The speakers are well made and definitely water proof just don't submerse them! They even have a cool blue led mood light so you can see the controls in the dark or don't trip over them. If you plan on using them often on battery power, i would invest in rechargable's. I love these speakers and move them all over the house from the kichen to the deck or the front porch all the time. And i love it when someone else realizes theres music playing but can't figure out from where! Hope you enjoy yours as well as i have mine. bob. durham,nc.

Good sound in a small package.....butJul 24, 2008

Yes.....but remember, these are little speakers. As the previous reviewer says, "if you're looking for BIG sound, KEEP LOOKING!). BUT.........
For what these are, they're great. I just set up my pair om my iTunes for outdoor listening and they're not bad.
These are small speakers and they are suitable for background music. If you want something to rock out with buy something else. These are by no means for high volume listening.
This set up is perfect for the patio, porch or poolside for low to moderate volume listening.
A few observations:
These do not handle high levels of bass. I've found that they sound much better if you can turn down the bass level a bit. iTunes makes it easy with it's built in equalizer. Play around with it to get the best results.
Performance will vary from song to song. Some things sound better than others but everything sounds at least acceptable. These are wireless and occasionally have that "FM" sound to them. Hard S's sound a tiny bit distorted.
Distance performance is always an issue. Performance in this area will depend upon location, your home, it's walls, materials and what other wireless devices are functioning around you.
Overall not bad little speakers. If you need a nice set of wireless and can go into this knowing you're getting SMALL speakers, you'll be cool with these.

Does the job and sounds great, just plan on buying batteries in bulk!Aug 19, 2010

""product research junkie""
These work great, especially when placed opposite of eachother (sounds like they're in stereo), however they eat up a LOT of batteries!!!
Junk, Pure JunkMay 26, 2012
By william These speakers are less than worthless. With only ten feet from the transmitter to the speakers, no obstruction of any kind, they do not work. The sound that comes out is a pathetic crackling bunch of irritating noise. Even though they are total junk, the manufacturer request a re-stocking fee! Really, a re-stocking fee? Is this 1980? Waste of time.
Better than expectedOct 14, 2011

New design was a home run. Every thing you need was included except for a whole bunch of batteries, but a great value$
