I know monster cables really dont make a pic/sound up grade. I buy monster products because I belive them to be made better and will last longer. I had 2 bad exprences with 2 diffrent brand hdmi cables. One did not work right out of the box the other stoped working 1 day in. So I went with a monster hdmi cable and never had a problem. When it came time to buy a sub cable I went with A monster cable due to my good exprence with them. I was very pleased with this cables sound. It seems to be very solidly made and fits just right on my sub and recvier.
P.S. yes I konw it and all monster products are over priced, but you get what you pay for.

I recommend this cable by Monster. It is expensive but it is made very well, and delivers a very clear sound.

The Monster sub cable is very well built, the smoke metalic finish and gold tip looks sexy as hell. The wire is made of rubber and feels very sturdy though not as strong as i thought it would be (my rocket fish optical and M1000 HDMI have some sort of teflon construction). i ordered a different sub cable and had a distinct hum and turnd out to be an imitation (dont buy "monster thx standard"), i purchased this cable and the hum went away. it will not disapoint, you will never have to buy another cable again...

Didn't know if you got a bang for the buck for the SW cable upgrade and soon as I installed it knew you did.. Had a very plain low end cable and noticed significant upgrade in clarity and clean sound soon as I turned it on. Don't hesitate to step it up for such a small price you get a nice upgrade in sound quality..
