These plugs are solidly constructed. I do wish they gave the option of being taken apart as the distance apart is not standard on AV- Receivers. Overall, they are very well built, look great and provide great sound.

Did not read description as well as I should,,,,so I really can't complain..my fault. Really good quality construction but would not work on my AVR as it did not have the 3/4 inh spacing between plugs to work on the back of my AVR. As another reviewer stated...had to cut in half to work as I didn't wish to spend any more money. It really does make it easier to switch out receivers...as I had to due to mine sent out for repairs and I am using a different one until I get the Onkyo back.

If you like to rearrange your setup a lot, this is definitely a time saver. Although some people claim better sound quality with this item, the best quality would be with no cable connectors at all. This is a convenience item, not a sound quality bettering item.
