A Genuine Motorola BatteryJan 18, 2007
By R. Tanaka As advertised, a genuine Motorola replacement battery arrived on my doorstep a few days after I placed my order. The new battery is working great, and my phone is working like new again.

5 stars for the battery, 3 stars for GoDoodadsJan 17, 2010
By David Altekruse On the plus side:
1) GoDoodads responded quickly when I contacted them about late delivery (see below), 2) Battery arrived in good shape, 2) Was exactly as advertised, 3) Most importantly, works well with reasonable time between charges.
On the negative side:
1) GoDoodads did not ship it for almost two weeks after I ordered it, 2) Did not contact me to let me know it wouldn't be shipped as promised, 3) Used USPS which has erratic delivery times and provides no tracking.

Motorola Battery No Better than Generic Brand :(Feb 08, 2008
By beachlover590 For a brand new - authentic Motorola - battery, it doesn't hold a charge as long as the original one that came with the phone under the same usage conditions. Previous reviewers on this site noted reduced charge time from generic batteries. That information influenced my buying decision, so, when searching for a replacement battery, I stayed away from vendors offering cheaper substitutes (2 for the price I paid for 1) for that reason. Next time I'll just go cheap - no sense paying more for a name brand when there's no added value.
Don't waste your moneyJan 01, 2012
By NonStop Yes, it is a genuine Motorola replacement battery; however it doesn't hold a charge any better than the (several years old and now worn out) original Motorola battery. My opinion: don't waste your money.
GENUINE Motorola replacement for the V710 (and 1 other phone)Jan 18, 2011

It's nice to find genuine motorola batteries for older phones - I have a V710 connected into a landline adapter but even though it runs on AC power it still needs a good battery to transmit. The V710 was one of the last combo analog and digital phones, so for areas where analog is still operational it's one of the few phones you can use - also in analog mode it uses alot of batteries so you need spares.
These are new cells - no memory effect - and no degredation from storage. They work just like new.
