Actually love it!Feb 21, 2012

I've been using this keyboard for just over two years now with no issues. I'm currently building my wife a new desktop and she wanted the same as mine, so I was pleasantly surprised to find it here still available.
I'm not some super technical guy, but my favorite things about this Keyboard are..... 1. It lays really flat on the desk..I mean flat! 2. The keys are nice and flat like my laptop. My fingers practically slide over it. (Great for assigning extra action keys in my video games) 3. The multimedia keys actually work well with windows 7 64bit while I'm playing my video games. Never had a problem with mine. 4. Love, I mean LOVE the key cover thing because I have cats! I can get up from my desk to get coffee and use the cover so Mr. Oreo (My cat who walks on EVERYTHING) doesn't send rambling text words to my friends online or mess up my in progress emails!
My Wife and I play World of Warcraft and also the new Star Wars (SWTOR) and we really think it responds well. In fact I'm going to buy another right now for my third computer build. I definitely feel I got my money's worth out of mine, and its two year old and still great! The one I got it for my wife was EXACTLY the same. Why improve on perfection?
Decent keyboard.Dec 12, 2011
By Taro Snagged one of these today at a local store, figured I'd give some feedback. Got this for under half Amazon's price - This review is based on that price.
I was looking for a cheap and at least somewhat decent keyboard replacement for an always-on Linux server that doubles as a media hub and occasional light browsing, etc. While I have a KVM, it's far less hassle to just have a dedicated keyboard. Errands took me past the store today, said why not, the one I was using was a nightmare. I use a Logitech Illuminated Keyboard for my primary computer, so not really much comparison.
Layout: Actually why I bought it - The layout almost perfectly matches the Logitech, so my constant switching between the two keyboards doesn't end up in frustration. Bar-style enter key, pipe/slash above, full size backspace, and no extra function buttons around ctrl/meta/alt. Would prefer a double size delete like the Logitech, but that's just being picky for the price.
Action: Not bad, not great. Short-stroke rubber membrane keys with a decent bit of resistance and enough feedback to not feel squishy. Definitely not comparable to a good scissor board, but quite nice for what it is. Much, much better than the bargain board it replaced.
Function keys: Not impressed - Knocking a star off for this alone. The playback and function buttons use the same membrane without the same support, ending up with a very squishy feel. The media circle (next/prev/play/stop) is especially bad, and the volume down button seems to trigger the Next quadrant quite often. Button labels are next to impossible to make out in dim light - Thankfully the only ones I actually use are the media and volume controls.
Look and feel: Very nice overall. Not quite a low profile design, but close enough. LEDs aren't blinding and their light stays where it's supposed to. The wrist rest is translucent black plastic and doubles as a folding key guard. I hadn't been expecting to use it until I noticed that - It flips and folds very quickly/easily, looks classy, and protects the keys from the rest of my desk. Collects fingerprints like none other though.
TL/DR: Shockingly nice if you can find it cheap, but I wouldn't bother at full price. Don't expect much out of the media keys. Types nicely for membrane keys.
