 Looks great -- terrible qualityOct 15, 2010

I bought this because i thought it would look great on my desk -- I was right it looks terrific. The problem is I've only owned this for not even a month and it's already getting frayed on the edges.
I was hesitant on buying it because it was "green" which is defined as "made with materials that won't last forever." I went for it thinking it would at last a year, however at the current rate of degradation it won't last 4 months.
In terms of being "green" the shipping could have done a better job with less wasteful packaging.
Better yet, they could have just emailed me instructions to make a mouse pad myself out of materials found in my local region. (jk)
Buy it if you only need a mouse pad for a few months - Otherwise get something else.

Threads coming off after 3 days of light use. I only use my computer in the evenings after work, and you can imagine, how little wear and tear it takes for this mouse pad to show scruffs.
Buy something else, save the earth by keeping a single mouse pad for years and not months. Does not look that spectacular either, though I really wanted to keep it if it was practical and would last for a few months.
I am returning this and buying something else.

black and white earth = cool
real soft and smooth and clean feeling
and thinner than previous mousepads, in a good way

Im using it right now and no problems so far. Not much more to say.......... Its soft to the touch and looks like the picture.
