Slick Device, but PriceyFeb 25, 2008
By Daniel G. Lebryk It is exactly the size of a USB memory stick with a lanyard attached. Read, small, very small. The USB cap is attached to the charging wire, an excellent design.
Oh does it work perfectly. Combine this with an APC UPB10 Mobile Power Pack for charging mobile devices battery, and you've got one heck of a charging device.
Yes this thing is way too expensive. But darn it, I'm charing my very expensive Nokia phone with it (N95). Nokia N95-3 Silver/Bronze Phone (Unlocked) North American Version
Happy I bought this. The Amazon seller - Antonline - not exactly a speedy rabbit.
Now I have to figure out how not to lose this device.

Nokia USB charging cableSep 03, 2007
By anaifr Nokia N95 Silver/Plum Phone (Unlocked)
The CA100 charging cable is excellent, it is really tiny and takes up no room whatsoever in your pocket. The best thing is you can plug it into any computer USB port to charge your Nokia cell phone, so it is the perfect travel companion: it does not matter what voltage or kind of plugs the country you travel to uses, as long as you have a computer handy you can easily recharge your cellphone. The cable also comes with a cover for the USB connector to keep it free of dirt or lint if you do store the charging cable in your pocket!
It is ideal for the Nokia N95 which can quickly use up the battery if you use several of its capabilities (e.g. mp3 player and GPS) at the same time.

Practical but slowMay 26, 2009
By Carlos L. M. Bezerra The Nokia CA100 USB Charger is practical for leaving the phone to charge while I'm in the office or when I need to provide power to a Nokia phone being used as a 3G modem (3G's battery hog).
Potential buyers should keep in mind that (1) this is a very slow charger and (2) it only works from high-power USB ports. TIP: if you own a macbook, the higher-powered port is the "front" one (the one closer to the audio jacks).
Overall a recommended buy as long as you overpay and get it from a reputable seller like Amazon - eBay may have chaper prices but their CA-100s are fakes for the most part.

Works great - but too expensiveMar 26, 2009
By Jay Why these phones don't charge of USB to begin with is beyond me. I'm sure there's a strategy behind it.
As my overall strategy to get all my devices to charge off usb (so I only need 1 car adapter and 1 wall adapter), I needed this for my Nokia products.
In my world of traveling, it's been worth-it overall to switch all my devices to use USB to charge. However, I think this product is ridiculously over-priced.

Hasn't Worked Once...Jan 24, 2011
By C. Steves Upon plugging into any USB port on my computer and plugging into the charging port on my E71, the phone at first recognizes the charger and plays the charging tone. But then, within seconds, the phone disconnects from "charge mode" and displays an error message (something like "charger not recognized").
I thought I researched this product enough beforehand to be reassured it would work with my E71 and it hasn't worked once yet... I'm very disappointed. I thought I'd be able to get rid of the AC charger, and gain the use of a USB charger while traveling, but no such luck.
