5Works well as a ceiling mount too!Jan 30, 2009
By MR.LBS.
I have a pair of Klipsch SL series speakers, which are roughly 16 inches long, which made them akward to mount on the wall if you want to mount them up towards the ceiling and point them down towards the couch. So, happily, I found that I had a lot of flexibility mounting these into the ceiling. I had a lot of control as to how I wanted to aim the speakers. I bought these heavier brackets after reading several reviews that inferred that the lesser-rated versions of these would likely not hold up as well. Although I wasn't crazy about having to pay $50/bracket, I know that I won't have to replace them down the road.

5Great wall mount with one considerationNov 19, 2011
By R. Kelley
This was the perfect solution for the back stage of my home theater. I hung Paradigm S1's (12lbs) solid with no sliping/moving even after a year!
The only issue with this mount is not really a problem with the mount. If you cannot drill into the back of the speaker for the screws you are screwed! My speaker has an aluminum cast body with no real way to drill into it. There are two tapped holes for a mount but they do not match ANY mount and Paradigm does not make one. I solved this by having an adapter plate made, $112, between my Paradigms and the Omnimount. Expensive but slick and attractive solution.
I saved the CNC program that machined the part so if you happen to own S1's and want a pair let me know, theclimbinglife@gmail.com

5BookShelf Speakers on the wallFeb 11, 2010
By D. Gilbert "talktodale"
I bought some mounts to mount my bookshelf speakers from Best Buy. They cost around $ 25.00 and the weight limit was around 8 lbs. My bookshelf speakers were about 9 lbs so I was hopeful. I attached the speakers and the mounts wilted and I was afraid it would eventually break the hard plastic mounts. I replaced them with these omnimounts and these mounts are rock solid. I mounted two speakers and will probably go back and purchase enough mounts to mount all five speakers on the wall. The omnimount wall attachment to the wall has 3 holes. If you can find a vertical stud and attach the bracket to the wall with all three large screws, this mount should hold it's rating of 30 lbs. In my case, I had just rebuilt the wall/drywall and moved speaker electric/wires so I had a horizontal stud in place ready to attach where I wanted the speakers to mount. With the stud horizontal, I could only use two of the large screws to hold it. My speakers were around 9-10 lbs. It was now solid. I could have probably hung up to 20 lbs on this horizontal stud with two large screws attached but I think my weakest link would have been how I attached the stud horizontally with only four wood screws (two at both ends). The end piece that attaches to the speaker has a metal ball that rotates and locks in place with a Hex lock screw. This speaker mount solved my problems.

We installed 2 pr on some Martin login large and heavy bookshelf speakers. Mounted them on the wall and had plenty of holding power. They were easy to install, looked great and did the job perfectly. Great product.

4Good solid product....Jun 12, 2010

Not much to review other than it's a good solid product. Well built. All accessories (screws, nuts, etc.) are included with each bracket. Once installed, easy to make adjustments.

Only negative is the white versions of this bracket are twice the price of black. Not sure why, so buy black and paint them. Save yourself $40.
