Now that we're all getting bigger TV's, we're not sitting as close as we used to. For those of us who have yet to upgrade to a PS3, Xbox 360, or Wii, we have two options: Go and buy an expensive wireless controller (I'm not knocking on them, it's just... when you're playing old-school games, you're either nostalgic or on a budget) or pick up one of these bad boys. I haven't had a problem with mine since I got it. It's worked great. I've got two running off of a Ps2 slim. Get it! It's worth it.

Amazon asked me to rate the game and it's fun level...Well, the game I am playing is great fun and I love it, however that is arbitrary because it has nothing to do with the extension cable. However, this extension cable works fantastically and I quite like it! I have no problems with it what-so-ever, it works as it is described to.

It's a six foot extension for PS2 controllers. I have only used it on the standard Sony controllers, so I can't vouch for third-party compatibility. However, it does exactly as it supposed to.

This cable does not work on my PS2. It says controller not connected, so as soon as I unplug the extension cable and connect the controller directly in the unit it is fine. Don't waste your money.

I currently own PS3, XBOX, and Wii; recently I reached a point where I had played so many of the games on my newer consoles that interested me and beat them as well as getting all the new release titles that I wanted and beating them that I was running out of games to play/to keep me entertained. Well, what's better then good ol' fasion PS2? I spent $30 bucks on a used PS2, bought the GTA (Grand Theft Auto) Trilogy Pack, and I've been gaming for HOURS on games that I grew up on and I STILL LOVE! The reason I purchased this extension cable is because I wasn't able to sit in my usual comfortable spot and play my PS2 so that sort of diverted me from even playing it. I knew I wanted to play those oldschool games SO bad but I didn't feel like sitting so close to my 42' HD TV to do it, so I remembered having a few of these back in the day, and let me tell ya', it saved the day again!
