PYLE-PRO PDWM440 Wireless system meets the need.Aug 31, 2010
By dubbs I purchased the PYLE PWMA 100 portable system which included one microphone, for use by my four grandaughters, aged 6 through 11. They sing together at public appearances and needed something for places where no sound system was available (usually outdoor events). Then they asked for individual mikes as one just didn't do the job for all four, and they liked to move around as they sang. I got the PYLE-PRO PDWM4400 With 4 headsets and 4 lavalier mikes. They love the headsets. The PDWM4400 also is a mixer, and I ran a cable to the PWMA 100 system and plugged it into the mike inlet so I combined the systems to get 4 mikes with individual sound controls. I spent a lot of time before I found that the connecting cable needs to be TS types, not TRS. This was not made clear by any advertisement or system information I'd suggest a long cable to remove the speaker (PYLE PWMA 100) away from the operator of the PDWM4400, just to keep the operator out of the picture.

Saved our Show!Jun 08, 2010
By Carolyn Smugorzewski I purchased this microphone system for a middle school choral/dance performance. I received eight mics for the cost of purchasing one at several music stores. The students felt so professional, and the sound was exceptional for a system of this quality. I'm going to purchase another one for my church.

Did Not WorkAug 04, 2011
By nc countryboy I received the microphones in time. They were packaged well. But they didn't work. It made my sound system hum really bad and the voice from the mics were not clear at all. Very frustrating. Returned the item for a refund.

Don't waste your moneyApr 05, 2007
By Cliff C. Collins You get what you pay for. This product performs like a hundred dollar wireless mic system. The sound breaks up; the mics are cheap and flimsy. I was hoping to get a great bargain, but instead I got frustration in a box. I could not make this work acceptably at all. No matter how I adjusted the levels it just sounded horrible. Do NOT buy this.

Children's ChoirMay 16, 2010

Our church needed more wireless bodypack mikes for a program. I bought this wireless set mainly on price. Yes the bodypacks are plastic, but the lavalier/headsets have a screw-in connection which eliminates any accidental disconnect. The headsets are a little large for children but hairclips can help or a gentle bending of the wire can make the fit better. The receiver is really not bad for the price. It has separate audio output jacks for each channel, one output jack for a blended output as well as an XLR jack, also for blended output. For our soundboard we could either use a 1/4" to XLR cable for each output to control each channel or a standard xlr cable for a blended output. The range was pretty decent. the receiver was on stage in a corner and we could use the mikes in the sound booth - 150' away and signal strength was still strong. Yes, we played with the volume controls on the receiver and also made some adjustments on the soundboard - primarily with the gain to get a level that worked well. Is it as good as a Shure wireless system? No, but for a special need situation with no budget to work with, I would purchase again. If you are plugging directly into an amplifier or PA system, you will probably have sound quality issues, so a mixer of some type would be recommended.
