A few problemsDec 26, 2007
By Dogtag Well, I purchased two of these units to use at car shows. The unit comes with a wireless mike which has pretty decent range (about 75 feet) and the audio is fair to good. Problem is that the squelch system that mutes the speaker when there is no signal present is intermittent. Sometimes it's open and allows noise to come through when the mike is shut off. Both units act the same way. I have since modified the mikes so that they cannot be powered down. (except by removing the battery) This way a signal is present all the time and the unit does not create noise in the absence of a wireless mike signal. (The audio on/off function on the side of the mike still operates) The units have a receiver built into the speaker but no external controls to allow squelch adjustment. When music is played through the speakers, the dynamic range is what I would describe as "fair". As long as the music is not played to loud the audio fidelity seems to be fairly reasonable. For this reason, I doubt the manufactures power output claim. When music is played at higher levels the audio suffers severe distortion.

Pyle Pro Portable PA SystemNov 11, 2006
By L. Jones
"Presenter"
I was trying to decide between this 200watt system or one of the 25-35watt systems. I settled for this one and was impressed with the sound. I have a workshop to present in two weeks and wanted to amp the presentation with something louder than my voice. The test run so far was impressive. I was a bit surprised at how small the system was, but it packed some serious sound and quite versitle. I like it. Its worth the price and looks professional.

Horrible Company ServiceJun 06, 2009
By Jon W. Owens Microphone worked only once so I sent it back to Pyle's service center. After several weeks, I called them back (good luck getting through)and they said it was repaired and had been shipped back to me. After a week, I didn't receive the mic so I called them again and they said they made a mistake but it was now on its way back. I received the mic in a few days but it had the exact same problem! After numerous attempted phone calls I asked to speak to the service manager. I was transferred to a recording asking me to leave a message, so I requested a return call. Nothing. In about a week, I emailed customer support, explained my problem and requested either a new mic or my money back on the purchase. Nothing. I'm in the process of disputing the purchase with my credit card company.
Horrible Service! Too bad I can't give it zero stars.

Perfect for Busker or Street PerformerAug 14, 2006

"Busker"
I have been looking at small self-contained (battery op) PA's, amps, etc. for 14 years... I decided to try this unit on a whim... for the price you get one whopping powerhouse of a professional unit... powerful clean sound, very compact... with the bonus of a respectable wireless mike at the lowest price around. Kudos to Pyle Pro Audio.

Don't break your micJun 03, 2010
By Player This system works just okay. Try to turn it up and you get bad feedback.
My microphone stopped working shortly after I purchased this item. I contacted Pyle to see about a replacement and got nothing but runaround from them.
They couldn't give me a price for repair or to purchase a new one, or where I could even buy a replacement.
Very frustrating!
