It is a heavy duty extension cord that will set flat with the receptacle. The cord is offset at the plug so they can be one above or adjacent to another.

Come one people, its a plug, that lays flat. Its the Max Flat Plug. How could you not rate it 5 stars? I needed it to plug my vibrating bed in and i need to push the bed up the wall to make the wall vibrate to piss off the neighbors who cook smelly food, BUT, the outlet is right where the headboard needs to be. The Panamax MAx Flat Plug solved my problem! The neighbors have hated me ever since!!! Thanks Panamax!!

It is a must, if you have a 110 outlet behind a desk that is positioned very close to the wall. Also the 8 inch extension is handy so the connection is below the lower border of most desks and allows easy connection.

There are a lot of cheaper flat head plug extension cord out there, especially at local stores. But I need one that is thick and heavy duty. This one is every bit of it. The male and female plugs fit snugly..not too loose and not too tight.

I bought this to use with a wall-mounted LCD. The LCD has a bulk bottom, which is where the power outlet behind the tv is located so there the tilting ability of the mount was limited because of a standard power cord. I bought this, plugged it in and now the tv can tilt as designed. Works perfect and hugs the wall nicely!
